Zhang Nan, a volunteer from Tianjin Foreign Studies University, said: “this is the first comprehensive event for me as a volunteer. Everyone works very hard to do more for each other. We are honored to serve press media for them covering and broadcasting the exciting matches and beautiful Tianjin to feast audiences. They are always in a rush, and we may help them carrying their heavy cameras.”

Reception Volunteers, the Front Window of MPC

Standing at the sides of reception desk, volunteers are busy in their work, activating the journalists’ cards and inputting information. They impress each and every journalist for this Game. Any problem will be solved by them in the first time. 

It’s rather uneasy for these house-in MPC volunteers as those in venues. These volunteers take double shifts from 7 AM until three hours after the match late in night. Everyone may work more than 8 hours on average. They are among the most respectful and loved ones in the Games. Through serving the East Asian Games, they are also developing themselves, and extending warm welcome to visitors.
