Therapeutic Use Exemption:

運動員治療用藥豁免

a. All Athletes and their physicians may apply for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE), i.e. permission to use, for therapeutic purposes, substances or methods contained in the List of Prohibited Substances or Methods, whose use is otherwise prohibited;

a.如運動員因治療目的需要使用列於《禁用清單》中的禁用物質或方法，則運動員及其醫生應申請治療用藥豁免(TUE)，並在獲得批准後，纔可以使用；否則不允許使用。

b. The Athlete should submit an application for TUE no less than 30 days before participating in the 6th East Asian Games(e-mail: eagatue@gmail.com);

b.運動員應在參加第六屆東亞運動會前不少於三十天提交治療用藥豁免的申請(郵箱：eagatue@gmail.com)。

c. The TUE will be reviewed by a Therapeutic Use Exemption Committee (TUEC), appointed by the EAGA Medical Committee;

c.東亞運動會聯合會醫學委員會將組建治療用藥豁免委員會，負責審批運動員的治療用藥豁免申請；

d. A TUE will only be considered, in accordance with the principles of strict medical confidentiality, following the receipt of a completed application form, that must contain all relevant documents;

d.治療用藥豁免委員會將嚴格遵守醫療保密原則，並僅在收到完整的申請表格以及全部相關資料後，纔會受理治療用藥豁免申請。

e. An application for a TUE will not be considered for retroactive approval except in cases where:

e.治療用藥豁免委員會不受理任何事後追補方式提交的治療用藥豁免申請，除非：

 Emergency treatment or treatment of an acute medical condition was necessary, or Due to exceptional circumstances, there was insufficient time or opportunity for an applicant to submit, or a TUEC to consider, an application prior to Doping Control.

 急救或處理急性病癥所必須，或

 因特殊原因，在接受興奮劑檢查前，申請人沒有足夠的時間或機會提交申請，或治療用藥豁免委員會審批申請。

f. Decision of TUEC shall be completed within 30 days upon receipt of all relevant documentation and will be conveyed in writing to the Athletes by the EAGA Medical Committee.

f.治療用藥豁免委員會應當在收到所有相關資料之日起三十日內作出是否批准申請的決定，審批結果將由東亞運動會聯合會醫學委員會以書面方式通知運動員。
