The 6th East Asian Games (EAG) will take place in Tianjin China, from October 6^th to 15^th, 2013. Approved by the TEAGOC Executive Board, Tianjin East Asian Games Broadcast and TV Committee is officially established by Tianjin Television Station (TJTV). The Committee is in charge of producing and providing accredited media from around the world with international TV signals to cover the Games, and managing and operating the International Broadcasting Center (IBC).

I. IBC Organization

IBC comprises Program Division, Technology Division and Administration Division, responsible for producing TV signals for the sixth EAG. Each of the three has several subdivisions:

1. Program Division: program making, ENG shooting, records management, office reservation

2. Technology Division: venue operation and guarantee, IBC infrastructure contruction, signal control, network operation, program making

3. Administration Division: secretariat, IBC guarantee, venues guarantee

II. IBC Responsibilities

1. Program Division makes design plans and schemes for producing TV signals, chooses camera positions in the venues for the EAG Broadcaster and other accredited media, and devises graphics and captions of TV signals by adhering to the standards of the EAG. During the Games, the division is responsible for the quality of international TV signals, image materials recording and management, video tape duplication and conversion, ENG shooting, and making of video highlights. It supervises and coordinates work related to the coverage of EAG, promotes TV signals and manages TV business reservation.

2. Technology Division manages the construction of TV infrastructure in the televised venues, the technical coordination and guarantee during the Games, and the construction of IBC central system infrastructures including CDT, ENG, telestudio, and information recording and sharing.

3. Administration Division as the EAG Broadcaster is responsible for administrative affairs including document and correspondence flow and writing, meeting minutes management and conference reception. It offers logistics services including accommodation, traffic, personnel and vehicle allocation, security, office supplies management and maintenance, legal affairs and contract management.

III. IBC Services

IBC will provide all accredited media with free Referral Information System, and those purchasing TV signals with services like studio and workroom renting.
