  The 6th East Asian Games will be held in Tianjin from October 6th to October 15th, 2013. In line with the authorization of the executive office of TEAGOC, Tianjin TV is the Games’ host broadcaster,who will provide public television signals and will set up International Broadcasting Center (IBC).

  The public television signals for the 6th East Asian Games include live broadcast, recorded broadcast and highlights of the games. Live broadcast signals will be provided for swimming, diving, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, judo and the Final of men’s football. Recorded broadcast signals will be provided for preliminary games of men’s football and badminton. Highlights of the games, covering highlights from all 24 tournaments, will be generated twice a day at fixed times, with each 15 minutes. 、

  In line with the approval of the executive office, the use of public television signals should be paid. Please refer to the host broadcaster for the purchase of the public signals.

  A few things to know:

  A. The TV signals should be bought as a whole, not on a single tournament or competition basis. (Please refer to annex 1 for TV broadcasting schedule)

  B. The host broadcaster will not transmit the public television signals, but provide the interface with China Unicom, who will send out the signals via satellites and optical fibers. Broadcasters who have purchased signals shall contact China Unicom for the transmission of the public television signals.

  C. Broadcasters who have purchased (public) signals can obtain camera positions conduct unilateral interview, and can also rent workshops and studios in the IBC.
