On May 25, the 6th EAG trial tests were kick-started in full swing. At 9 a.m., the 2013 National Youth Swimming Tournament, also known as the preliminaries for the National Games, started in Tianjin Olympic Center under a starting gun-fire. And at 10 a.m., the 2013 Women’s Saber World Cup was kicked-off in Tianjin Foreign Studies University Gymnasium.
Xie Delong, Deputy Director of the 6th EAGOC Execution Bureau said in the interview that the competition items and athletes of the trial tests have no big differences with those of the East Asian Games. Therefore, all statistics from the trial tests would be relatively practical. Xie Delong also expressed that the test would mainly focus on the operation of each team in each venue.
Each and every department of EAGOC Execution Bureau were deployed and involved for a sound trial test result. It’s noticed that all working staff, except from the competition organization, were in place.
Altogether 21 competition items were covered in the 6th EAG Trial Tests and almost all competition venues would go under inspection before the Games.
